Sunnyvale ISD is having a Bond Election.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, voters in Sunnyvale ISD will vote on the district’s $95,740,000 bond referendum.

ELECTION RESULTS

Early Voting Cumulative Totals are published on Election Day at the close of Polls (7 PM).

On Election Night, Dallas County will begin posting Election Day results at 9 PM and update them every hour until all the votes have been counted. They are made available on the “Current Election” Results Page, or find results for each proposition below.

What factors led Sunnyvale ISD to call a bond election?

Growth

Using a comprehensive survey by Templeton Demographics, Sunnyvale ISD is currently 80 students away from exceeding capacity at the Intermediate School, while the High School is projected to exceed capacity in 2031.

The facility planning committee, a group of community members who proposed the bond package, prioritized safety and security when considering projects.

Renovations & Repairs

District-wide projects, including updated roofing and HVAC, can be found on the November ballot. Additional parking, classroom additions, and expansions are included throughout the scope of the bond.
